About Us
Founded by three sons — Mohammed Haneef, Mohamed Shariq, and Mohammed Rayaan — in honour of their mother, Fathima Fowzia Foundation is dedicated to empowering single parents and their children by funding programmes that build financial independence, expand access to education, and restore dignity to families navigating hardship alone. The Foundation also supports other vital activities through Sadaqah Jariyah.
Who Was Fathima Fowzia?
Kind
Our mother had a way of making everyone around her feel seen.
She gave her compassion freely to her children, family and friends.
She never once made you feel like it cost her anything.
Resilient
She raised the three of us on her own, and she did it quietly.
No complaints, no bitterness, or asking for pity.
Every single day, she simply showed up and carried whatever she had to carry with her head held high.
Graceful
Life threw a great deal of difficulty at her from financial hardship, to health struggles, and to dealing the world as a single parent.
She faced them all with a dignity that we, her sons, still find hard to put into words. In every sense, she was our warrior.

Mohammed Haneef

Haneef is a finance trader and has over 15+ years of work experience having led teams at Sutherland Global Services in Chennai and CGS in Hyderabad.
Mohamed Shariq
President
Shariq is an entrepreneur helming Shariq&Co that provides interior and construction services across Chennai. He is also Co-founder of Arqis Interiors in Dubai.

Secretary
